Summer School:  July 31 - August 25, 2017

Uppsala:               August 14 - 25, 2017

“I personally attended the school because I was wondering about the lack of women in my field of research, and I finished the school with a much more objective vision in my academic surroundings and where focus and work needs to be done. It is our duty to keep changing our environment to the better, and in order to do that, we have to start with ourselves.”

Pamela S., Participant 2017

This Summer School took place one week at University of Sheffield, the second week at University of Manchester and the last two weeks at Uppsala Universitet.

Together with the organizing team of the Summer School  the 10 participants from the three universities gained a lot of experiences in different practice fields, talked to professionals about their careers, discussed about gender inequality and did visited interesting places in the cities.
