Erasmus Intensive Programme PLASMAG

Freie University Berlin, Germany

July 20th - August 2nd, 2014

Our intensive course offers to M.Sc. and Ph.D. students of chemistry and physics (second and third cycle of studies) a unique opportunity to learn about nanoplasmonics and nanomagnetism from the best experts in the fields! These emerging fields open up a way for faster and more effective data transfer, better sensors, innovative treatments in medicine and more efficient solar cells. In the international environment students will get acquainted with the basic concepts in nanoplasmonics and nanomagnetism, including emerging field of spintronics. They will also get familiar with applications of the plasmonic and magnetic nanomaterials, as well as broadly understood methods of their synthesis and characterization. All these will take place in the attractive city of Berlin, offering innumerable possibilities of relaxing after each looong day filled with science.

  • Students will earn 6 ECTS points for participating in this course!

Travel and subsistance costs (accommodation, meals, social events, etc.) will be covered by the Erasmus Programme!

  • PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY STUDENTS FROM PARTNER UNIVERSITIES ARE ELEGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT!

Number of participants is limited so APPLY NOW!
