Research interests:

I have got my PhD degree from Bogazici University, Istanbul, in 2009. My PhD topics include the photoconductivity properties of several noncrystalline materials and chaotic properties in the conductivity of certain polymers.

In the group, I study the soft X-ray spectroscopy applied upon certain liquids including acetone, dimethyl sulfoxide, water, etc. and mixtures of these materials. In the liquid phase of these materials several interesting phenomena emerge as the interactions between the individual molecules increase, and the group aims to gain insight to these phenomena from an X-ray spectroscopic perspective. Furthermore, I assist the other ongoing projects in the group such as the time resolved X-ray spectroscopy.
