Hello, my name is Kenichi Ataka. I am working in this group since 2000 as a senior scientist. I graduated Tohoku University and worked in Hokkaido University for a while after I got my Ph.D. degree. At that time, I was working in the research field of surface science. After I have joined Joachim’s group, I started a research of biological topics. Since then my major research interest is to apply surface analytical methods, such as Surface Enhanced Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy (SEIRAS), Electrochemistry, etc, to the functional study of Biological samples.
