Thema der Dissertation:
Driven quantum systems Josephson junction arrays, Floquet systems and active quantum matter
Abstract: The extensive field of driven quantum systems has seen numerous theoreti-cal and experimental advances in recent years, with studies ranging from mea-surement techniques, over engineering of out-of-equilibrium phases of matter to considerations of active matter on the quantum level. In this talk, we will first discuss how measurements of the resistivity tensor provide access to the elusive vortex-lattice states of frustrated Josephson junction arrays. Next, we discuss how spin correlation functions in time crystals can be described analytically via log-normally distributed pairings in the spectrum of the Floquet operator. Finally, we introduce a model for an active quantum particle, discuss its driving mechanism and highlight its quantum features.
