Laser pulse control: theory and experiment
We shall present a survey of important methods for laser
pulse
control, including the techniques of Paramonov
on IR-pulse
induced vibrational transitions, Tannor and Rice for
pump+dump, or
pump+control, Shapiro+ Brumer for coherent control, Rabitz
for
optimal control as well as feed-back learning control,
and others.
Some techniques will be demonstrated by selected examples
from
the theoretical and experimental work of our ( i.e. Woeste,
and
Manz+Paramonov) groups, including video simulations of
the laser
driven molecular wavepacket dynamics.
