Paper Club - Join us!

Interested in fascinating new science beyond lectures and exams?

In our Paper Club, we meet regularly to discuss recent scientific papers (mostly review papers) in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The goal is not to understand every formula or every detail. Instead, we want to share curiosity, exchange ideas, and explore exciting research together — across physics & chemistry & biology and beyond.


Everyone is welcome, whether you are in your bachelor’s or master’s or a PhD student, whether you already read papers regularly or are just curious to start. We want the club to be an open, respectful, and non-discriminatory space in which everyone can participate comfortably. Snacks are provided.


If you are excited about science and would like to discover and discuss current research with other students, come join us!
We meet every second week at 16:00 o’clock in the seminar room T3 (1.3.48) in the physics building (Arnimallee 14, Trakt 3, first floor, room 48).
