Zuoqiang Hao is currently a professor in the School of Science at Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST). His current research interests include femtosecond filamentation in nonlinear transparent media and corresponding applications in laser induced high voltage discharge, high power femtosecond supercontinuum source, filament induced break down spectroscopy, and so on.
Zuoqiang Hao obtained his Bachelor's degree in physics from Shandong Normal University in 2001, and Ph.D degree in optics from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007. He was a postdoctoral researcher supported by CNRS in Lyon 1 University from 2007 to 2008 supervised by Prof. Jean-Pierre Wolf, and supported by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Free University of Berlin from 2008 to 2011, supervised by Prof. Ludger Woeste. He enjoyed the impressive stay in the group of Prof. Woeste.
