I am a PhD student, I come from Milano, Italy, where I got my bachelor degree in physics, I moved then to Berlin where I finished my studies doing the master thesis here in this group.

My project consist in the spectroscopical investigation of the impact of the membrane potential on Channelrhodopsin-2. I am measuring with time-resolved visible spectroscopy but I spend most of my time in the biochemistry lab where I learned about protein reconstitution into liposomes and fluorophores.
