Women* Networking Meeting May *29*

News from May 28, 2019

Dear FemaleLesbianTransInterNonbinary*-people,

the next Women* Networking Meeting takes place on *May 29* from 2 pm to 4 pm > (c.t.) at the room 1.1.16 (FBR-room) at the > department of physics.  Darja Trende will give an introduction to the concept of nonviolent  communication and how it can be used in our everyday life.

What is the Women* Networking Meeting? We want to build connections to make  FemaleLesbianInterTransNonbinary*-People (FLINT*) stronger in the still cis-male dominated field of physics. It is a space in which we can talk about experiences, and to use this network to support each other, e.g. by exchanging information about examinations, bachelor/master theses, scientific work or generally the  career path.  In addition, the Woman*-Networking Group organizes workshops, seminars and talks and discuss  papers to gain an understanding of the  problems and thus try to find ways to deal with them or even solve them, as well as develop tools that might be useful in this system.

The Women* Networking Meeting is shaped by everyone who wishes to  contribute, there is no hierarchy. Your ideas are welcome. No one is obliged to contribute, though. We meet once a month on Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm. Every third meeting is open to all genders. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
