At the event, we will first "walk in someone else's shoes" and then discuss our impressions of the walk. We will continue by talking about working culture in physics and will enjoy coffee and cake in a friendly circle.
What is `Walking in someone else's shoes`?
Everybody will be assigned to one character with a certain background. We will line up at the inner courtyard of the department and there will be questions read out. If the answer to the question is yes for a person, taking into account the characters background, a step forward can be made. For example one question is, if it is possible to go out with the colleagues after work or university to go grab a beer, and a character has a child or family member to take care of, the answer would be rather no.

What is the Women* Networking Meeting?
We want to build connections to make FemaleLesbianInterTransNonbinary*-People (FLINT*) stronger in the still cis-male dominated field of physics. It is a space in which we can talk about experiences, and to use this network to support each other, e.g. by exchanging information about examinations, bachelor/master theses, scientific work or generally the career path.
