Physics doctoral student Ilia Kulikov from the research group Behrends was awarded the Ernst Prize of the "Magnetic Resonance" section of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) for his outstanding scientific publication.

News from Oct 05, 2023

With his work on the investigation of Organic Radical Batteries by EPR Spectroscopy, Ilia Kulikov contributed to scientific activities of Prof. Dr. Jan Behrends in the field of novel batteries. The publication was produced as part of an interdisciplinary collaboration involving researchers from chemistry and physics.

The junior research group is based at Freie Universität Berlin and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin. Among other things, it investigates charge transfer and charge transport in organic solar cells. The major goal here is to identify efficiency-limiting loss mechanisms and to develop strategies for strategies for the fabrication of future solar cells with improved efficiencies.

The Ernst Prize, endowed with 500 euros, was ceremoniously awarded during the FGMR Annual Meeting 2023 of the GDCh in Konstanz. Congratulations!
