Phosphorene Nanoribbons in "Nature"

In collaboration with collegues from the University of Cambridge, the University College London, the European High Magnetic Field Lab in Nijmegen as well as the University of Warwick we have published an article on the optical and magnetic properties of phosphorene nanoribbons (PNRs) in Nature. These atom-thin ribbons made of phosphorus exhibit both magnetic and semiconducting properties at room temperature, making them promising candidates for future electronic applications and paving the way for a new generation of energy-efficient technologies.
