The Dahlem Center for Complex Quantum Systems at Freie Universität Berlin was established under the direction of Prof. Dr. Piet Brouwer, who accepted a professorship at Freie Universität Berlin in 2009. The research focus of the Center is quantum theoretical solid state physics in its entire range. The Dahlem Center is an exciting discussion forum that encourages the exchange of ideas and promotes collaboration between established and young scientists within Germany and worldwide.

Duties:

The area of responsibility includes research and teaching in the field of theoretical physics, with a focus on condensed matter theory, in particular mesoscopic physics, topological states of matter or spintronics.

The position is intended for personal scientific qualification.

Requirements:

Graduation and PhD in Theoretical Physics.

Desirable knowledge and experience:
