Preparatory Course to the Advanced Master Laboratory
Winter Semester 2024/25
This laboratory course addresses master students who did not have laboratory courses equivalent to the basic and intermediate laboratory courses, which are part of the bachelor studies at FU Berlin. As its title already reflects, the course does not replace the Advanced Laboratory Course for Master Students, but rather gives the students the possibility to get used to the whole procedure of preparing, performing and evaluating scientific experiments as well as communicating their results.
During the course, an experiment on the Zeeman effect, also part of the intermediate lab course, will be performed exemplarily. Common sessions give the opportunity to prepare the report and evaluate the data in depth under guidance.
The Preparatory Course to the Advanced Master Laboratory is no longer considered in the study and examination regulations from 2024 and accordingly does not comprise an exam.
