Breakfast

Tuesday, 14 October at 10 a.m.; Cafeteria (room 1.1.25)

Join us in the Cafeteria to start the day with free tea, coffee and breakfast. This is a joint event with the bachelor first-semester students.


Welcome Event for New Master's Stundents

Tuesday, 14 October at 4 p.m.; Cafeteria (room 1.1.25)

Program coordinator Prof. Dr. Cecilia Clementi will welcome the new Master’s students and present key information about the Physics Master’s program and current research at Freie Universität Berlin. New students will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Members of the department will introduce themselves, including:

Campus Walk with a Peer Mentor 

Tuesday, 14 October at 5 p.m, immediately following the welcome event

Directly after the welcome session the students of the International Peer Mentoring will organize a little Campus Walking Tour to show you the most important locations.


Lab Tour

Wednesday, 15 October 2 - 4 p.m.; Meeting Point: Cafe XX; 10 minutes before the tour

Visit some of the experimental labs at our department! 


Evening Program

Thursday, 16 October at 7 p.m.; Lecture Hall B

Together with the Bachelor's first-semester students we will watch a movie (in English). Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Q&A with Student Union (FSI)

Wednesday, 22 October at 7 p.m.; Location to be announced

Meet dedicated students who are involved in the student union and ask them questions about studying physics and our university.


Board Game Night

Thursday, 23 October at 7 p.m.; Cafeteria (room 1.1.25)

An evening of new friendships, clever moves, exciting game battles, and plenty of laughter


Karaoke

Friday, 24 October at 6 p.m.; Computer Science Department, sofa room (basement in the Takustr. 9)   

We sing together with our computer science friends.


Flea Market & Berlın Wal

Sunday, 26 October 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Details will be announced by International Peer Mentoring.
