Junior Research Group: Quantum Information and Holographic Dualities
Department of Physics
14195 Berlin
Office hours
Our main physical office is in room 207 at Arnimallee 6 (the "Pi building"), 2nd floor by German counting.
Research
In recent years, the discovery of holographic dualities between gravitational and quantum theories has led to a vibrant exchange of perspectives and methods between the fields of high energy physics and quantum information theory. Our research group studies such dualities using the tools of discrete quantum systems, in particular tensor networks, to develop concrete models at the interface between (quantum) gravity, quantum error correction, and many-body physics.
For more information, see the "Research" tab above.
Status
Unfortunately, this group wil be dissolved by the end of 2026, with Dr. Alexander Jahn opening a new Junior Research Group at South Korea's APCTP. The current group therefore has no more openings for students or postdoctoral fellows.
