Evaldas Svirplys is a PhD student at Max-Born Institute and works in the Division of Attosecond Physics, headed by Prof. Dr. Marc Vrakking, an Adjunct Professor at Freie Universität Berlin. The division’s research is dedicated to the development and the application of attosecond light sources in the XUV and soft x-ray wavelength range based on high-order harmonic generation.
Evaldas Svirplys will talk about the research he conducted in Dr. Bernd Schuette’s group “Attosecond-pump Attosecond-probe Spectroscopy“.

Über Friday Light Talks
Die Friday Light Talks sind eine Initiative für Postdocs, Doktoranden und Masterstudenten zur Förderung der Vernetzung, der Diskussion und des Ideenaustauschs in einem informellen Umfeld.
Jede Veranstaltung umfasst einen 20-30-minütigen wissenschaftlichen Vortrag eines Doktoranden oder Postdoc-Forschenden, gefolgt von einer Diskussion und einem entspannten Beisammensein mit Getränken.
