This year's edition of the "Ultrafast Magnetism Conference" will take place at Freie Universität Berlin.

Ultrafast Magnetism Conference 2024 is dedicated to the field of ultrafast spin and magnetization dynamics and in particular to ultrafast dynamic processes in magnetic materials on picosecond, femtosecond and attosecond time scales.

The scientific topics of the UMC 2024 conference include the following:

  • Spin dynamics and ultrafast switching
  • Spin phononics
  • Angular momentum beyond spin
  • Spin transport and devices
  • 2D and new materials
