Friday Light Talks: Dr. Daniel Reich

The quantum physicist Dr. Daniel Reich is one of the “Top Minds of Berlin Science".

Dr. Daniel Reich’s research deals with the theoretical modelling and numerical simulation of light-induced electron dynamics in molecules. In addition, he is researching topics in open quantum systems, quantum optics, and quantum control.

Teaching plays a particularly important role for Daniel Reich. Through lectures on quantum mechanics and numerous public outreach activities, he inspires both students to engage with theoretical physics research and the general public to explore topics in physics.

Dr. Daniel Reich will share his experiences in research and teaching. After the talk, there will be a relaxed gathering with food and drinks!

About Friday Light Talks

Friday Light Talks is an initiative for PostDocs, PhD and master students to get to promote networking, discussion and ideas exchange in an informal environment.

Each event comprises a 20-30 min scientific presentation by a PhD or Postdoc followed by a discussion and a relaxed get-together with drinks.

We are excited to have a space where all the research groups can get to know each other, and we are looking forward to  meeting you all!  There will be a Friday Light Talk once per month during the Winter Semester, each time with a contribution from a different research group.
