Graduation Ceremony and Summer Party 2026

In a festive atmosphere accompanied by live music, graduates will receive their Bachelor's and Master's certificates as well as doctoral degree certificates. After the ceremony, a relaxed summer party will take place in the garden of the Department of Physics.

PGzB Karl Scheel Prize 2026: Professor Dr. Hélène Seiler to Be Honored

The Physical Society of Berlin honors Professor Dr. Hélène Seiler with the Karl Scheel Prize 2026. The award recipient will give a lecture on her research. Following the lecture, the Karl Scheel Prize will be presented to her in a ceremonial setting.

Long Night of Science 2026

Traditionally, the Department of Physics opens its doors to everyone interested in physics and science in general for the Long Night of Science. Our guests experience a variety of exciting lectures, laboratory tours and experiments. Various experiments invite young and old to try them out and marvel. Program 2026 Prospective students may join the physics program free of charge. We kindly ask you to register as our invited guests.
