Pathways in Physics: Dr. Bianca Lim - Physicist at the interface between research and the photovoltaic industry
Bianca Lim was already interested in regenerative energies during her physics studies at Freie Universität. For her diploma thesis, she conducted research on solar cells at the former Hahn-Meitner Institute (now Helmholtz Center) in Berlin.
Bianca Lim completed her doctorate at Leibniz University in Hanover. She was honored with the SolarWorld Junior Einstein Award for her dissertation in 2012.
Bianca Lim will talk about her path from studying physics to strategic business development at the Institute for Solar Energy Research.
How did she master various professional stations in the turbulent photovoltaic market? And what role has she taken on as a "climate-wise" member in the Board of Trustees of the Climate Protection Region Hannover?
Get to know Dr. Bianca Lim and be inspired by her experiences!

About "Pathways in Physics"
In the online talk series for students of physics, different speakers will talk about their own pathway in physics: why they became physicists, how they recognized what their interests in physics were and how they went about getting positions in research and industry. We invite speakers from the Department of Physics, different research institutions as well as from various industries.
