Welcome Event for New Master's Students
Tuesday, 14 April 2026 4 p.m.*; Cafeteria (room 1.1.25)* time update from 14 April 2026: The event will take place at 4 PM instead of the previously announced 2 PM.
Program coordinator Prof. Dr. Cecilia Clementi will welcome the new Master’s students and present key information about the Physics Master’s program and current research at Freie Universität Berlin. New students will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Department members will introduce themselves, including:

Board Game Night

Wednesday on 22 April 2026 at 2–3:30 p.m.; Meeting Point: Cafeteria; 10 min before the tourVisit some of the experimental labs at our department!
Q&A with Dr. Nicole Rudolph-Mohr (Officer for Studies and Teaching)
Friday April 24, 2026 at 2–3 p.m.; Dozierendenraum (room 1.1.08)Nicole Rudolph-Mohr provides you with further information that is essential for your progress in your studies and answers any questions that may still be open.
Outdoor Activity
Friday April 24, 2026 3–8 p.m.We will meet in Thielpark for a casual get-together, on the meadow north of the metro station Freie Universität (Thielplatz). You can also meet us at Café XX (room 0.3.02) at 3:15 p.m. and we'll go there together.
We will bring a Spielemobil by UniSport equipped with fun outdoor games (Viking Chess, Spikeball, Frisbee) and some snacks. Feel free to bring your own games and picnic material (e.g.: food, drinks, etc.)!
