Scattered Perspectives on topological matter Quantum transport at the nexus of topology, anomalies and disorder
Abstract: This thesis explores the anomalous transport properties of phases of quantum matter through the lens of topological band theory. We explore instantiations of topological matter beyond the insulators and superconductors of the tenfold way, with a focus on topological semimetals and topological crystalline insulators. We cover three main themes: response properties of Weyl semimetal interfaces, electronic interferometry in topological materials, and disordered topological crystalline phases.
